He has been associated with the DAV Movement since his schooling at DAV School, DI Khan (NWFP) Pakistan. He has also been closely associated with the Arya Samaj. He has done commendable service to DAV Dental College, Yamuna Nagar, earlier as Principal and later as Director of the College. He was the founder Dean of Faculty of Dental Science, Kurukshetra University and member of Court of Kurukshetra University. He has held many responsible posts of Presidents of National and International Dental Councils and Associations. He has contributed to various scientific journals of national and international repute. He has been awarded the Ativishisht Chikitsa Medal and National Health Excellence Award. He has travelled widely in India and abroad including UK and USA on invitation by universities and scientific societies to present papers. He is a very active member of various scientific societies and is a staunch Arya Samajist.
